Sharon qualified as a physiotherapist after first studying Sports Science at Loughborough University. After 8 years working in both the NHS and private practice, Sharon worked as a Senior Physiotherapist at DMRC Headley Court where she specialised in rehabilitating military personnel who live with chronic pain.
Sharon’s professional interests lie in treating complex musculoskeletal injuries, as well as working with patients who present with chronic pain and dysfunction. Her specialist treatments include biomechanical assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, ergonomic advice, health education, pain education and cognitive functional therapy.
As a keen sports woman with a background in basketball, boxing, running and Cross Fit, Sharon is also passionate about sports rehabilitation and her own experience of sporting injuries allows her to better relate to her patients and guide their recovery towards the highest possible level of function.
