Dr Matthew Beadman

CBT and EMDR Specialist

Matthew is a Clinical Psychologist who provides clinical psychology services to individuals, groups and organisations to improve physical and psychological health, to reduce distress, to help people achieve their goals and create meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Matthew has worked for the NHS for over ten years where he specialises in the application of psychological theory to the management of physical health conditions, particularly cardiac conditions. He also works with adults experiencing a range of other physical and psychological health difficulties, including post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and adjustment reactions.

Matthew has published experimental studies and reviews of CBT literature and is the co-author of the self-help text ‘The Little ACT Workbook: An Introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy’. He is also trained in the delivery of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
