Alison Troughton

Occupational Therapist

Alison trained as an Occupational Therapist in Northern Ireland, working in the Royal Victoria Hospital before moving to London to continue her career. Alison completed her NHS rotations where she went on to specialise in treating individuals following complex trauma at St George’s hospital, one of the London’s Major Trauma Centre’s.

Alison's transition into the rehab environment was influenced by the desire to help individuals on their journey to recovery. She was inspired by the resilience and determination shown by those who had experienced a life changing event yet remained highly motivated to conquer new challenges and rediscover the things they love doing. Through these encounters Alison not only improved her clinical skills but has developed a passion for empowering and positively influencing lives.
