"Alex is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management with Honorary Consultant appointments at King’s College Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He treats Military Personnel at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Stanford Hall (DMRC) and is a member of the Veteran’s Trauma Network. Outside the NHS, Alex delivers integrated pain management for complex trauma with the Team at Remedy Healthcare.

He qualified from Bart’s and The London and undertook specialty training in Anaesthetics and Pain Management both in the UK and abroad with fellowships in acute pain at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, and in chronic pain at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

Alex’s specialises in the use of pain medicine to enable rehabilitation to improve function and quality of life - he is an expert in the management of pain after major trauma. This is achieved by using a truly holistic, multidisciplinary approach, tailoring intervention, medication, and pain therapies in partnership with the patient.

He has a research interest in pain management after major traumatic injury and has published extensively in this area. "
